Spider-Man is one of the most popular superheroes of all time, but some missions just aren’t a good fit for the Web-Slinger, particularly ones taking place in the evening. When that happens, Peter Parker becomes The Night Monkey!
Ok, not really, but this Spider-Man: Far From Home preview is amusing for how it paints the wall-crawling hero in a Batman-like light. Sadly, I don’t see Night Monkey getting his own film trilogy.
Since there’s no way Spider-Man: Far From Home is going to surpass the likes of Avengers: Endgame and Avatar, I suspect Sony is delivering this re-release so that the sequel can collect at least an extra $300 million, thus making it the most financially successful Spider-Man movie across the board.
Well, until a third MCU-set Spider-Man movies arrives and gives Far From Home a run for its money…. pun intended.
It’s a very funny moment, but one that would have been hard to place in the movie. While footage of the reverse snap is scene during Far From Home, in which the school’s marching band reappears during a basketball game, it’s such a quick moment that dwelling on it even longer would not have worked.
Still, it’s exciting to see that this particular moment was filmed and is now available.
